Smile with Mol is a Portsmouth based teeth whitening and tooth gem studio, built from a childhood love of all things sparkly and smiles that stand out. Growing up, I always drawn to tooth gems, sparkles and and anything that just stood out and was different to the 'norm.' And as a girly with ADHD i spent years trying different jobs without ever feeling like i truly fit or could fully focus. That's when i decided to create something for me. Nearly two years ago, i turned my passion into a career and it’s been a life changing journey ever since.
Today i specialise in enhancing smiles, boosting confidence and becoming besties with all my clients all while doing what i genuinely love!
Teeth Whitening is generally a safe and effective treatment to improve the appearance of your smile and boost your confidence. Results can vary from person to person and generally works best on yellow/brown stains compared to gray stains. Treatment is not recommended for anyone under lo years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women and people with gum disease. A consultation prior to Teeth Whitening is required to establish if you would be a suitable candidate.
At Smile with Mol we use all dental grade products and gels that reduces the risk of damage to tooth enamel and gums and also reduces the chance of tooth sensitivity. You run the risk of seriously harming your teeth by obtaining Teeth Whitening from people who are not professionally qualified. It is not safe for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
It's normal to experience some tooth sensitivity after a whitening treatment. This is temporary and usually lasts 1-3 days. Over the counter pain medication can be taken and dental products can be offered to help reduce symptoms. Using a toothpaste specifically for sensitive teeth is recommended before you undergo a Teeth Whitening treatment. You may also experience gum irritation which can happen if the whitening product touches your gums during the treatment. This is also temporary and will resolve very quickly.
Depending on the type of Teeth Whitening treatment you choose, a session can take between 30 minutes to
1 hour.
